High sound-insulation windows are particularly suitable for high-noise areas, such as near airports, in city centers, and close to highways

Fixed soundproof window, MEKA

The soundproof window has been tested by VTT (VTT-S-00856-16). Airborne sound insulation R was measured according to the EN ISO 10140–2:2010 [1] standard, and the airborne sound insulation ratings Rw+C and Rw+Ctr were determined according to the EN ISO 717–1:2013 [2] standard. The Rw+Ctr rating can be used, for example, to evaluate sound insulation against urban traffic noise, and the Rw+C rating for evaluating airborne sound insulation against jet engine noise near airports.
