Fire-Rated Window

A fire-rated door or fire-rated window is required, for example, when a garage or a neighboring building is close to an exterior wall or entrance.

The purpose of fire-rated windows and doors is to create compartments with highly fire-resistant structures that slow down the spread of fire.

  • Frame: 130, 170, 210mm, quality class A 1-2. Glued from 2-3 parts. D400/F moisture-resistant adhesive.
  • Glazing: 4mm Float glass. With 2K and 3K insulating glass units. Spacer bar: TPS or SS spacer (thermo plastic spacer or super spacer, black in color), clear aluminum or painted white aluminum.
  • Sealing: silicone + gasket
  • Surface treatment (wood): Teknos Aquatop, standard white NCS 0502, translucent stain + lacquer, lacquer.
  • Surface treatment (aluminum): Powder coating.
  • Aluminum profiles: Alloy AW-6060-T5, surface quality class C.
  • Curtains must not be installed on the frame / glass surface of a fire-rated window.
