Klas1 \u2013 The Most Beautiful Window Product on the Market from Kuusamo<\/h2>

Klas1 began its operations in Kuusamo in 1994. Since then, we have operated in our hometown of Koillismaa, where our resources include long-standing professionals dedicated to their work and slow-grown northern pine.<\/p>

A high-quality window product is created from premium, selected wood by experienced, keen-eyed professionals. Our small company strongly embodies the traditional carpentry expertise of staff proud of their work.<\/p>

Pine grown in the harsh northern conditions is particularly dense-grained and thus endures for the entire lifespan of the building. Knot-free, resin-spot-free Finnish pine is selected as the raw material for windows and doors. In addition to pine, we also manufacture windows from finger-joint-free white oak. The highest quality timber on the market is our absolute strength.<\/p>

We inspect the quality of the wood for the first time when the timber used for windows arrives at our factory. The raw material we use is selected, and its moisture content is measured, as there must be no knots or cracks on the visible surfaces of the wood. After this, the flawlessness of the wood surfaces is checked again during the assembly phase of the sashes and frames.<\/p>

Flawless wood material is of paramount importance for achieving a furniture-grade window product. With the surface treatment chosen by the customer, the windows are integrated into the architecture. As surface treatment options, we offer either a stylish painted finish or, alternatively, a demanding translucent finish that highlights the quality of the wood we use. The quality of our surface treatment is ensured in the paint shop, during the glazing phase, and for the final time in the packing department before the finished window is sealed for shipment to the customer. Our quality control covers the entire journey of the product, from the arrival of wood blanks to the finished packages shipped to our customers.<\/p>
